Trouble is, it's April and work goes bananas with all the end-of-year stuff some company's find themselves in annually. I'm transferred to a project that's sinking faster than the Titanic so I have my work cut out there.

So, it's now 6 weeks since I finished the course with Chris, and I finally make time to sit the exams. Amount of revision? a massive 45 minutes before I leave for Thruxton for the exams! [gulp!]

Results.
Written paper (pass mark 70%): 76%
Aural (pass or not pass): Pass.

The examiner even said my Aural was 'Bloody good - tell Chris he's obviously doing a good job teaching people.'!

And get this - the is NO CHARGE by the CAA for the issue of the R/T license. That's a first!

So, passed the GFT and R/T exams. Now I'm ready to go and really learn to fly!
