The Shadow is a Microlight aircraft with good performance powered by a 50 BHP Rotax two-cylinder two-cycle engine. The engine drives a three-bladed 52" x 50" propeller, through a 2.58:1 ratio gearbox. It can cruise at 80 MPH.

A kit Series-C costs £13,995, or £19,495 for a factory completed example, all excluding VAT etc.

The kit is supposed to take 500 hours to complete. The aircraft comes with a good set of VFR instruments.

Used Shadows can be had for between £8,000 and £13,000 depending on age, extras etc. The newer series DD are typically one third more than this.
