The Post Mortem

We parked up and he said something along the lines of "Ok, I'll need to have a chat with you".

I imagined how the conversation would go as I finished up. It would begin with something along the lines of "I'm sorry, but..." or maybe an "I'm afraid...".

I went in and the first words were "Uhm, that was OK, I'll write you up"

I P A S S E D ! !

We discussed the near-miss, which I was told wasn't really my fault since they were going the wrong way in the circuit. He offered some useful advice about the piss-poor PFLs, and finished up by filling in his part of the licence application form. Considering my flying was well below par, I was well chuffed!
