Massive Storm, 29th October 2000.
There I was standing on the conveyor at Heathrow Airport, having landed not 10
minutes earlier returning from my 5 weeks holiday in Australia, when my mobile
phone goes off immediately after turning it on!
It was an answerphone message 'Steve, Jim here. Can you call me - it's bad news.
Your trailer has been blown over in the storm'. It sure had! I wasn't about to go and see it
the same day, so I went the day after. It was quite a shocking scene, with all
three of the Shadow trailers on their side.

Not only that, but a Piper Tomahawk (PA32?) which was tied down, went for a
little trip. Namely 280 metres, over a hedge to end up in the middle of a road.
Mangled.
