Parking proved to be a little interesting - CFC seemed to have almost taken over a good portion of Brimpton, but we found somewhere ok near the threshold end. I begged a nice wet sponge to clear the canopy, and then joined the others with a nice cold drink.

We left at 1830 for the half hour trip home. The balloon still hadn't moved very far at all!

It was a little after 1900 when we landed back at Chilbolton, and we found Chris trying his best to hide at the far end of the runway! I'm glad you told me later you were waiting for me...

All in all, a most enjoyable trip for us. Nikki used up a film in a cheap and cheerful point-and-shoot compact we had kicking about, as you can see.

I can apparently still read a map, and my somewhat poorly Rotax didn't give up. Although it was a short trip, it has actually lifted my own (ok - I admit it, I'm over cautious!) confidence a lot. That was Brimpton then.
